The Metropolitan Square Building will soon be home to The Eatery, the first food hall in downtown St. Louis. Owners of the office skyscraper plan to invest $2.5 million to renovate a former restaurant and common area space on the building’s ground floor into a new dining destination. Property manager JLL confirms that Arista Gourmet Salads & Flatbreads, Dinos Deli, and Kimcheese Asian Fusion have already signed on as tenants. Construction will begin this month with a grand opening anticipated for the fall.

Rick Spector, senior vice president of retail brokerage for JLL, said, “This is going to be a fun, exciting place where people not only gather for great food, but also come to socialize when downtown. We are excited about how The Eatery is going to highlight all of our new restaurateurs.”

Nehring Design of St. Louis created The Eatery’s modern, fresh interior design that includes a connecting 1,000 square foot outdoor patio. JLL is currently negotiating additional leases for The Eatery and looks forward to announcing further new tenants in the near future.”
